The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation has confirmed that the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) has been renewed as an accredited provider of continuing nursing education for four years, through February 28, 2022.

“Nurses are on the front lines in helping to identify and treat osteoporosis patients and we are pleased to be able to meet their continuing education needs in the bone health field,” said Catrell Harris, director of science and education, NOF.

NOF offers a variety of in person and on demand educational opportunities for healthcare providers, including a three-day clinical conference, the Interdisciplinary Symposium on Osteoporosis (ISO), which will be held May 17-19, 2018 in New Orleans, LA. In addition, NOF’s Professional Learning Center offers a variety of content covering the full spectrum of the bone health continuum from prevention, to testing, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis and related fractures – https://cme.bonehealthandosteoporosis.org/.

“Nurses and Nurse Practitioners play a critical role in today’s healthcare landscape helping to both educate and treat patients with myriad conditions and chronic diseases,” said Susan Randall, MSN, FNP-BC, senior clinical advisor and lead nurse planner, NOF. “NOF offers the most up-to-date and clinically relevant information on bone health to help busy practitioners meet the needs of their patients and their healthcare practices.”
